2012 Ford Focus ST is Heading to a State Near You

For some time now Ford has promised to deliver us a sexier, more aesthetically pleasing Focus. For years we’ve been living in envy of the European designed Focus waiting, wishing for something more (RS please?). In a few weeks there will be no more wishing, and only a couple more years of waiting as Ford will announce at the Paris Motor Show the all-new 2012 Ford Focus ST will be coming stateside.

The Ford ST will be equipped with an Ecoboost 2.0-liter inline hour churning out 247 turbocharged horsepower which will deliver a performance Ford calls “an intoxicating cocktail of exhilarating performance and handling accompanied by an addictive sounds.”  Ford also promises the STs’ handling will live up to its bill. While Ford is keeping their lips sealed when it comes to releasing more details, we can at least for now, enjoy these fantastic photos.

[Ford Motor Company has stated the Focus ST will release for “all global markets from early 2012”.]
