It’s beginning to look a lot like…the end.

Driving past Station Road Farm in West Chester, our car nearly swerved off the road as we watched the saddest sight of the season: the annual Christmas tree burning. The tree burning, three days after Christmas, marks the end of the official end of the season for the town. It’s not depressing because the trees are burning, or because we are all headed back to the daily grind, but because its all the trees that nobody wanted. The misfits. The Charlie Brown trees. But what can you do? Swerve back onto the road and get on with the new year. How long do you wait to take down your tree or holiday decorations?
