Carole Baker is one of the sweetest ladies you’ll find. She is the owner of Oh! Social a consulting firm which helps businesses of any size create strategies for establishing two-way communication with their audiences and is also the founder of Dayton’s fastest growing social media enthusiasts group – New Media Dayton (we were fortunate enough to sponsor their most recent event). So we were ecstatic when she approached us wanting to participate in our Drive One for a Week program by taking a brand new 2011 Ford Edge Limited for a week.
The 2011 Ford Edge was the first vehicle in Ford’s line-up to be equipped with the MyFord Touch, a state-of-the-art driver connect technology. Being the technology savvy person she is it was a no-brainer giving her a Ford Edge equipped with the system.
Carole documented her week by shooting daily videos, each day highlighting different aspects of the vehicle that stood out to her such as: Rearview camera, iPod connectivity and sound system, Airbags/Safety features, Sunroof/Moonroof, MyFord Touch tutorial and how it handles in the snow.
Below are the videos she shot each day with the Edge. Enjoy!
Day One – Rearview Camera
Day Two – iPod connectivity and Sound System
Day Three – Airbags/Safety features
Day Four – Moonroof/Sunroof
Day Five – MyFord Touch Tutorial
Day Six – How it handles in the Snow
Last Day – Sad goodbye
(Full Disclosure: Carole Baker was not compensated before or during her week with the Ford Edge. However, In 2011 Lebanon Ford has decided to extend VIP type benefits to all those who participate in our Drive One for a Week program. Benefits when fully decided upon will be fully disclosed to the public.)
