Many of us who grew up in the ’80s and ’90s loved Transformers. In this infographic, we see that many of the Autobots’ secret identities were based on actual cars. Which makes sense, but watching reruns of the original series when I was young, it never occurred to me that they were real cars. Had I known, perhaps I would’ve bought myself a nice used 1984 Pontiac Trans-Am when I turned 16, just to say I drove an Autobot.
