Lebanon Ford is hiring for a new Social Strategist position

My department at Lebanon Ford is looking to fill a new Social Strategist position. The most important part of this job is that the candidate must have demonstrated communication/digital communication experience. This means actively engaging and participating in a wide variety of digital activities such as blogging, community development and management, social bookmarking, commenting, etc. and is well-connected with the broader social media world. The second important part is that the candidate must be able to think strategically, but be willing and able to roll up his/her sleeves to help implement the programs.

Responsibilities – the key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Work closely for/with the Digital Communications Director.
  • Create quality content for Lebanon Ford’s digital assets.
  • Help in the conceptualization, planning, implementation, measurement and renewal of a comprehensive digital communication strategy to define programs that use social media marketing techniques to increase visibility, membership and traffic across all Lebanon Ford’s digital properties.
  • Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities (“marketing R&D”).
  • Event planning (car care clinics, cruise-ins, military appreciation day)
  • Monitor trends in Social Media tools, trends and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increasing the use of digital communication at Lebanon Ford.
  • Strategize with and educate management team and others across the company on incorporating relevant digital communication techniques into Lebanon Ford’s culture and into all of  Lebanon Ford’s products and services.
