When we receive a Ford SVT Raptor at our Cincinnati Ford dealership, almost all our employees (myself included) get pretty giddy. Much like a 10 year old feels on Christmas morning, lots of emotion coupled with a little anxiety. When you see a Ford SVT Raptor up close and have the opportunity to drive one like Samantha did at the Ford Proving Grounds racetrack you quickly realize it’s one of those specialty vehicles which cause everyone to all the sudden think the make $70,000 more than they do all while scrabbling to the nearest calculator trying to fit the monthly payments into their budget.
There’s been three SVT Raptors to bless our lot since I’ve worked at Lebanon Ford and while none of us employees were able to physically purchase one it never stopped us from daydreaming about one day being able to ramp off 40 foot sand dunes cruising at 65mph. Then again sand is coarse and irritating, and it gets everywhere.
