There’s an App for that!

The latest reports on driving dangers are saying CYA L8R to “traditional” problems like texting and talking on the phone. Instead, its reported that 35 percent of college students are using the apps while driving, causing an equal or greater distraction than just normal cell phone usage. Not to mention it’s more complicated to calculate your calories, check your library book due dates, and schedule meetings while driving than just sending a quick LOL.

The PC World blog reported ten of 93 studied college students had crashes related to distracted driving in the last five years. While texting and driving is no longer allowed in 33 states, how will they be able to ban app-ing and driving? Especially when there is a fine line between an app and using a Google Map or a GPS. The government has their hands full now, and so do drivers. Be careful out there!
