Round Up: 2011 All American Cruise-In

We had an amazing turn out at this years All American Cruise in at Lebanon Ford. Around 75 cars showed up to this years event and everyone had a great time. There were Mustangs of all years, dating back from the early 60’s to some brand new Shelby Cobras. We also saw some vintage Ford’s, including a couple F-100 models. There was even someone there with a Mistubishi. (Wonder who that was… The only downside to the event was the fact it was so hot, but many found refuge in the dealership where there was plenty of space, as well as air conditioning.

We grilled out hot dogs and hamburgers for all the attendees, and also collected a ton of canned goods to help support the New Freedom Church Soup Kitchen. It was really exciting to be able to see vehicles from way before my time and hear some of the amazing stories behind them.

We also handed out 3 prizes to some of the best cars at the event. The first trophy was for the employee choice award, which is the favorite vehicle picked by all Lebanon Ford employees. This award went to Andy and his 1981 Delorean. The second trophy was for the overall people’s choice award, which is the favorite vehicle among all the attendees of the show. This award went to the owner of a blue 1966 Ford Mustang. The final trophy went to Lisa’s choice award, which was the favorite vehicle picked by our owner/general manager Lisa Cryder. This year she picked the owner of a silver Ford Galaxy.

Thanks again to all of those who came out, we really enjoyed talking with everyone and getting to know you and your vehicles! And also, don’t forget we’ll also be having another cruise in very soon on August 20th. This will be our annual Pig Roast Cruise In, so look out for more details on that one soon!

Be sure to check out all the photos from the event on our Flickr page here.
