Hauling 50 Dogs and Other Amazing Feats of the Ford F-150

Every new 2011 F-150 has a maximum payload (amount of stuff that you can put in the bed of your truck) at around 2,500 pounds. While Ford advertises that this weight is “best in class” one must wonder, how much “stuff” is 2,500 pounds really? Well, 2,500 pounds is:

1. 5 ATV’s

2. 50 bales of hay

3. 83 Cinder blocks

4. 1 Yard of Gravel

5. 1 Yard of Mulch

6. 50 Dogs

7. 90 Million Dollars (in 100 dollar bills)

8. 125 Medicine Balls

9. 3% of Titanic’s Anchor

10. 250,000 Sheets of Paper

11. 4 Silverback Gorillas

12. 8 Cincinnati Bengal Offensive Lineman

13. 1 Adolescent Elephant

    Bales of hay?

On another note, I’ve wondering just how I was going to transport my adolescent elephant.

Thanks for seeing the typo. We’ve made the correction. Speaking to the post, when I saw “50 dogs” for some reason it registered 50 hot dogs. I was sitting at my desk looking out the window. trying to picture how 50 hot dogs would = 2,500lbs ;)
