Police Departments Everywhere Are Forced To Retire An Old Friend

Recently, The Ford Motor Company announced that it would no longer be producing the Crown Victoria Police Car. Although Ford discontinued manufacturing the Vic. for private consumers in 2008, Ford continued (until recently) producing the cars for federal, state, and local law enforcement.  Reactions by police across the country have been mixed where police officers understand that although the Vic. is like a mobile office (complete with a comfy desk chair), the amount of gas needed to feed its massive Interceptor V8 is about as good as driving a real office. So with that in mind many police departments are waiting patiently for the next Ford design while others are scarfing up the remaining Vic.’s.

What other Ford car do you think Ford should promote to police forces next?
