Since June, Ford has been beta testing its new service called Operator Assistance. And now, as of September 20th is listed as a standard feature for Ford Sync. This is a new feature of Sync Services, which already gives you access to traffic, news, stock quotes, weather, horoscope, sports, movie listings, turn-by-turn directions, and business searches. What Operator Assist does for you is patch you through to a live person when you’re using Sync Services in your car by simply saying “Operator”. For example, if you are having issues with your Sync not recognizing a direction command or a business search while using Sync Services, you can quickly connect to Operator Assist for more help. The person on the other line can send you information about your business search to your phone via text message, give your turn-by-turn direction to your location, or even connect you to the business phone number. If you’d like to hear more about this unique service I joined Jeff Cryder and Zach Bello this past week on Across the Lot. Listen Here…
