Owners of MyFord Touch are really looking forward to the new upgrade they’ll be receiving in the New Year. They might be even more excited to hear that Ford will be giving 1,000 employees the new MyFord Touch upgrade to play around with for a month. This will allow Ford to see how the system operates in the field and give them plenty of time to see if there are still any bugs within the system.
John Schneider, Ford Electronics and Electrical Systems Engineering, says “Employees who have been MyFord Touch users since it was first launched will test the new upgrade on employee lease vehicles so they can provide us real-world feedback, helping us polish the final product before it goes to our customers.”
Ford seems to be taking the problems customers are having pretty seriously. Then again that is what owners of the MyFord Touch are wanting. We will have to wait and see if their efforts have come through when the new models come rolling out next year, and you better believe we’ll be covering the new MyFord Touch system as soon as we can get our hands on it.
