When thinking of all the SUV’s on the market today, do any of them strike you as fun and exciting? Didn’t think so… until now! The release of the all new 2013 Ford Escape Ford not only brings a redesigned Escape to the market, but a more exhilarating and intuitive vehicle. The differences from the second generation Escape to the third are night and day.
2013 Ford Escape Features
The redesign, which follows Ford’s new “Kinetic” design, also upgrades the SUV with even more technology, technology that can be found on many of the Ford vehicles today. These upgrades include Ford’s MyFord Touch system, which received an upgrade earlier this year making it even more simplistic and intuitive. Additional features include a class exclusive hands free liftgate, class exclusive active park assist, BLIS with cross traffic alert, Intelligent access with push button start and an advanced audio system from Sony. Another cool point worth mentioning is the work Mike Kolich, a seating expert, did with the seats found within the new car. Ford recognized the amount of hours people spend driving on a daily basis and how this can result in many issues like lower back pain. So Ford, with the help of Mike and his team, developed a seat that not only helps reduce back pain but is lighter as well to increase fuel economy.
