Ever wished you were on a beach instead of in rush hour traffic? Turns out, the number one city for traffic is Honolulu, Hawaii. According to a recent study by the traffic data company INRIX, Honolulu has taken over the number one spot, followed by Los Angeles. Third worst in the country is San Francisco, then comes New York City, and Bridgeport Connecticut places fifth. The average New Yorker, according to the Today show, spent 52 hours sitting in traffic in 2011, meaning they wasted more than a full week of work just sitting there.
So, the next time you find yourself stopped on any of our lovely highways, count your blessings, and think about purchasing one of those I Love Cincinnati stickers.
