The refreshed 2013 Ford Flex ushers in a whole new futuristic design to the interior, and more notably the exterior of this polarizing SUV. With its cool looks and modern design it’s a SUV that is as unique and fun as the people who drive them.  It has the ability to carry up to seven adults comfortably, making it the perfect go to Limo SUV for any adults seeking a fun night on the town with friends. But in a more practical sense is capable of transforming into a shuttle vehicle for the kids, and all the stuff they bring, which is ideal for the on-the-go parent.

New 2013 Flex Features

Ford also upgraded the features found on the 2013 Flex from the previous 2012 model. According to Ford these include: the latest MyFord Touch® system, new safety and driver aid features such as adaptive cruise control with collision warning and brake support, and Ford’s Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®), as well as Intelligent Access with push-button start and remote start technology, rear inflatable belts, rain-sensing wipers, power tilt and telescoping steering column and power-fold mirrors.

Under the hood the base model Flex is powered by a 3.5 liter V6 which now produces 285 hp and 255 lb-ft of torque. The Flex also receives an additional mpg through these changes giving it an estimated 18 city and 25 highway for front wheel drive models. The EcoBoost, with its 355 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque, has gone unchanged from the 2012 model and again comes standard with all wheel drive vehicles. Enough with the technical aspects, here’s what others had to say about the 2013 Ford Flex model.
