Four Jaw-Dropping Mustangs Revealed at 2012 SEMA

Showcased at this year’s SEMA event was the all-new Focus ST, Fusion, Ford F-150 and Escape. At least four Mustangs were featured as well with custom designs from the likes of Ringbrothers, Stitchcraft, DSO Eyewear and a joint effort by Mothers, Autosport Dynamics and RTR.

Ringbrothers started with a base 5.0 liter V8 attached to a 6-speed manual transmission. They added a supercharger, upgraded the suspension and tacked on some Baer brakes to help bring the Mustang to a halt. The exterior of the Mustang was styled by a carbon-fiber body kit and finished off by a new waterborne exterior paint.

Stitchcraft started with a base V6 Mustang convertible and added a nitrous-injection kit to increase performance. A FlowMaster exhaust system was added as well as Hotchkis coil-overs and Wilwood brakes. The exterior was styled with a body kit from 3dCarbon while the interior was done by Stitchcraft themselves.

DSO Eyewear installed a Whipple supercharger with an intercooler to their Mustang, giving it a whopping 750 hp. Eiback suspension was added to keep the car pinned to the road while Brembo brakes were used to help bring the beast to a stop. 3dCarbon was used again to handle the body work of the Mustang and Rockford-Fosgate donated the very impressive audio system.

RTR took on the task of designing the final Mustang for 2013 by starting with a base V8 GT Mustang. They added a track-ready suspension, carbon-fiber body kit and racing seats provided by Sparco.
