How To Easily Pair The BlackBerry Z10 To Ford SYNC [w/ video]

BlackBerry Z10

The Z10 is BlackBerry’s newest entry into the smartphone market place. It runs on their intuitive BlackBerry 10 OS that gives owners a new way to access documents and manage applications. With its sleek design, innovative features, and stunning design it definitely holds its own in the ever competitive smartphone market. While that’s great in all, the important thing is how to pair your Z10 to your Ford SYNC.

Pairing Steps (copied from other articles)

Car

  1. Get to the Phone Menu by pressing the “Phone” button.
  2. Use the Tune knob to scroll through the menu to locate “System Settings” and press “OK”.
  3. Press “OK” to get into “Bluetooth Devices”.
  4. Press “OK” on “Add Bluetooth Devices”.
  5. Press “OK” on Find SYNC, you will see a 6-digit PIN that you will have to enter in to your phone.

Phone

  1. Locate your Settings and click it.
  2. Select “Network Connections”.
  3. Click on “Bluetooth” and turn Bluetooth on.
  4. When SYNC is available on the screen select it.
  5. Enter in the 6-digit PIN displayed to pair.

SYNC with Navigation

  1. Click the “Phone” button.
  2. Select “Settings”.
  3. Select Add, you will see a 6-digit PIN that you will have to enter in you phone.

Phone

  1. Locate your Settings and click it.
  2. Select “Network Connections”.
  3. Click on “Bluetooth” and turn Bluetooth on.
  4. When SYNC is available on the screen select it.
  5. Enter in the 6-digit PIN displayed to pair.

  2. Select “Network Connections”.
  3. Click on “Bluetooth” and turn Bluetooth on.
  4. When SYNC is available on the screen select it.
  5. Match the 6-digit PIN shown on the vehicles display, if they match select “Yes” to pair.
